Sound Meditation technique to hear the soundlessness

Sound meditation is the art of hearing just listening doing nothing. This technique can be done in different ways but the essence of all sound meditation techniques is to develop the art of hearing with mindfulness and the awareness to hear the soundlessness.

The sound meditation technique is a very subtle science. You have to train your ear and mind feel attunement with the sound. Forget everything else. Become the sound. You have to feel harmonious with sound.

This technique can be done anywhere. Sounds are everywhere the whole universe is full of sound anywhere you will go sounds are there you may be in crowded place or in caves of  Hills when you feel that it is a very peaceful place no noise to disturb there is also the sound with the low-frequency low volume you feel harmonious with it. That is why you feel good when you listen to music because music is harmonious sounds. Indian classical music consists of so many Ragas. There are different ragas for every step of time. Ragas developed for meditation. You feel calm if a sound is musical, harmonious so in Yoga have made many experiments with sound and music to develop so many meditation techniques based on sound and music.

There are two stages of  30 minutes each-

Sound Meditation technique to hear the soundlessness

Sit in comfortable posture, cross your legs, close your eyes . Your back and neck should be in straight position and no strain in any part of the body .You have just to listen to the sounds all around yourself . Listening to the voice of birds , sound of vehicles passing on the roads , the wind passing through the trees or some musical sounds , just hearing with full mindfulness with full awareness and not start thinking about sounds , just listening , doing nothing and after few weeks of practising it you will feel that you are becoming more peaceful and great peace starts falling on you and you are becoming fresher energetic and joyous and you will hear the soundlessness.

Try to hear the sounds within yourself –

Now you have to focus your awareness towards within yourself with soundlessness you have to move within yourself now you have to try to listen to the sounds of your breath and be aware of breath in and out do it for 10 minutes and that become fully dumb and deaf and suddenly you will find that you are aware of yourself now you will feel soundlessness and there are no thought no sound that is the state of super consciousness . Now you can hear your inner music that is called anhad naad the true music the music of God.

Regular practice of sound meditation heals your mind and body heals the flowing of energy among all chakras of the body and your body works in a harmonious way. you will feel more energetic more peaceful and joyous and you can overcome over many mental disorders like anxiety insomnia and can live a more successful life

Set goals to success in life that is the common quote among all motivation instructors around the world.The secret of success in life has been made to set goals and work on it but as a practitioner of meditation making goal to the Meditation is the biggest mistake done by most practitioners biggest reason for the failure in Meditation so here we will discuss it

Goal is the desire of mind-

When you set a goal you create a vision you create a dream you create a future a strong desire. Meditation happens when there is no future no past.Meditation happens only to those who are not result oriented.Meditation is the state when there is no goal.

Goal focus your mind power to results

When you have already set a goal than from every act you expect results.Someone said that great things happen only when you least expect them.Expectations make you restless impatient Meditation can’t happen in that state it only happens when you are in deeply relaxed state when all your inner movements cease then deep silence descends over you and you become full of love joy and happiness and that does not depend on any condition that is unconditional.

Setting of goal makes you impatience-

Men,s nature is that when he desires something now he can’t wait for he becomes impatience. Meditation is a seed after sown the seed you have to wait for sprouting the seed and come out from the earth results is not in your hand when you feel that nothing happening then something is happening internally so Meditation is a time-consuming process and having patience is necessary to succeed in Meditation.

Be consistent Be Relaxed-

Meditation is not a thing that can be added to your personality it is a transformation of yourself Meditation makes you a new, person it is a growth it is a consistent process and enjoy it totally there  are no need to be tense just relaxed in Meditation techniques  asana is not important relaxation posture  and be comfortable is must Be comfortable and relaxed is the essence of all asanas described in Patanjali yoga sutras and in Hath Yoga Pradipika.

Be playful with meditation techniques-

Most people take meditation techniques so seriously it looks as the meditation is only for the sad person and serious person who have to forget joy and happiness in your life but that is not the right way for meditation Be playful Be joyous with meditation techniques take it as you are bathing swimming and playing music.

listening or playing music may become the Meditation

when you listen or play a musical instrument you easily go into the meditative state but you are not in an aware state you are living in half fainted state you are not living in a full state of awareness so that you missed the god.God is not to be found. God has always been there.meditation techniques is not a method to search the God they only make you so sensible that you fell the God.

Music as Meditation music-

Originally,   Music was made for meditation. If you know Indian classical music consists of so many ragas there are morning ragas evening ragas night ragas for every time there are different ragas these ragas as a technique for meditation. for the instrument player, it was the meditation for listener also it was a technique of meditation.

All types of music in the world are written on seven notes when you listen to music you are listening to these seven notes in different ascending or descending order music as a meditation you have to listen to all seven notes as a whole note all seven notes are going around this when  you are hearing piano guitar or saxophone be alert and aware and try to listen the center around which all notes seven notes are flowing.

A musician plays a musical instrument during the playing of instrument he is in meditative state he is in thoughtless and egolessness state and sometimes goes in timelessness state only seven notes are in his mind no thought and he has forgotten himself there are no ego but he is not in awareness state if he moves inside with awareness that may become SAMADHI the highest state of consciousness  oneness of soul with GOD.
